Which babyballet class should I book

Our preschool dance syllabus has been carefully designed to ensure each child is taught the principles of ballet and tap at the right developmental level while boosting confidence, and of course having lots of fun.

Our programme fits well within the UK Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, with our classes providing the opportunity for babies and young children to learn and develop key life skills in a healthy and safe environment.

When signing your child up for a three-week trial, you will need to ensure they are within the age parameters outlined for each stage. If in doubt, please start in the lower age group to begin with as your teacher will liaise with you should your child need to move up a stage.

After registering, you will be sent an enrolment email full of information that will let you know what to expect. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive this email and double check your junk or spam folder!

Becoming a babyballet member

Following the introductory trial, you will receive an email containing all the details you need to continue with our classes and become a babyballet member. Along with term dates and information about how to make future payments to secure your place, you will be sent an invoice for the remaining weeks in the current term plus your one-off babyballet joining fee. Your little star will receive a Welcome Pack filled with fun and benefits for both you and them to enjoy.

Our fees are £7 per class for babyballet tots, tinies, movers and £7.50 for groovers (which is a 45 minute class), payable in full term blocks in advance (monthly payments available). Tappers classes are available for movers and groovers starting at £3.50 per week. There is no need to sign up via the website again.

Meet the franchisee

Miss Lauren & Miss Lucy – Franchisee

Miss Lauren Miss Lucy babyballet franchisee stevenage

Miss Lauren launched her first babyballet classes in Biggleswade back in April 2015 and met Miss Lucy in 2017 when she applied for a teaching position that Miss Lauren was advertising, as she was expanding her classes to Bedford.
They immediately hit it off and Miss Lucy started teaching in April 2017. Fast forward 5 years and after being an integral part of the Team, Miss Lauren offered Miss Lucy the opportunity to become a fellow Franchisee (which was her dream) and they went into partnership together to launch babyballet Stevenage & Hitchin.
Miss Lauren trained as a dancer and had a 15 year professional performing career starring in the West End as well as countless other shows, before joining the babyballet® team and becoming a first time mum to her little boy. Since launching, Miss Lauren has been nominated and won countless awards which she is incredibly proud of but not as much as seeing her little stars shine!
Miss Lucy also trained as a dancer at a young age and pursued her career as a teacher studying and passing her IDTA teaching qualifications. In 2019, she proudly opened her own dance school in Welwyn and Bedford teaching ballet, tap, jazz and musical theatre.
They are both extremely excited to be venturing into partnership together and launching their classes in Stevenage and Hitchin, sharing their love of dance and the magical world of babyballet®.
Miss Lucy began training as a dancer at the tender age of two and a half years old and instantly found a love for dance. Miss Lucy is ITDA trained and examined in ballet, tap, jazz plus ISTD trained and examined in rock n roll.
Growing up she always loved teaching dance and seeing pupils grow into dancers. Alongside teaching she also performed in the local pantomimes as a dancer and competed in Competitions all over the UK.
She passed her IDTA Associate Freestyle Exam in January 2019 with a distinction grade and is currently training with the IDTA to further her knowledge and gain more qualifications. In 2019, Miss Lucy opened the ‘Lucy Hunt School of Dance’ where she teaches ballet, tap, jazz and musical theatre.
Miss Lucy joined the babyballet® Biggleswade and Bedford team in 2017 and loves seeing her little stars shine! Becoming a Franchisee and launching classes in her hometown of Stevenage is a dream come true and she can’t wait to meet you all.
