How to book a babyballet class:

Our babyballet class timetable is listed below, where you can book a three-week introductory trial for just £18.

The trial is the perfect introduction to babyballet, giving you and your child the chance to try out our ballet classes before signing up to a full term. Where spaces are available, the babyballet trial can start at any time during a term. Upon completion of the trial, you will be invoiced for the remaining sessions.

Tots: 6 - 18 months

This is a ballet and sensory play class suitable for children aged 6 - 18 months. Your little one does not need to be walking but good head control is essential.

Tinies: 18m - 3 years

This is a ballet class suitable for children aged 18 months - 3 years and the main carer fully participates in the class with their dancing star.

Tappers: 3 years+

This is an additional tap dancing class suitable for children aged 3+ years that are enrolled in Movers & Groovers.

Movers: 3 & 4 years

This is a ballet class suitable for children aged 3-4.5 years. Parents sit and watch so that the dancing star can be encouraged to be more independent.

Groovers: 4.5 - 6 years

This is a ballet class suitable for children in Reception and Year 1. We kindly ask that parents wait outside the room so that their dancing star can be encouraged to be more independent.

Which babyballet class should I book

Our preschool dance syllabus has been carefully designed to ensure each child is taught the principles of ballet and tap at the right developmental level while boosting confidence, and of course having lots of fun.

Our programme fits well within the UK Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, with our classes providing the opportunity for babies and young children to learn and develop key life skills in a healthy and safe environment.

When signing your child up for a three-week trial, you will need to ensure they are within the age parameters outlined for each stage. If in doubt, please start in the lower age group to begin with as your teacher will liaise with you should your child need to move up a stage.

After registering, you will be sent an enrolment email full of information that will let you know what to expect. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive this email and double check your junk or spam folder!

Becoming a babyballet member

Following the introductory trial, you will receive an email containing all the details you need to continue with our classes and become a babyballet member. Along with term dates and information about how to make future payments to secure your place, you will be sent an invoice for the remaining weeks in the current term plus your one-off babyballet joining fee. Your little star will receive a Welcome Pack filled with fun and benefits for both you and them to enjoy.

Our fees are £6.50 per class for babyballet tots and £7 for babyballet tinies, movers and groovers, payable in half term blocks in advance. Tappers classes are available for movers and groovers starting at £2.50 per week. There is no need to sign up via the website again.

Our babyballet preschool dance programme offers four stages of ballet classes, for young children aged 6 months to 6 years, plus a tap dancing class for children over 3 years. Taught by thousands of teachers across the world, the babyballet syllabus has been carefully developed by dance professionals to introduce your child to the magic of dance, whilst creating precious moments between you and your little star. What to wear to class

At babyballet, our uniform is not compulsory, but we do have a beautiful bespoke uniform range for our little stars that can be browsed on our online shop.

For your trial, please put your child in something comfortable that allows them to move freely. They will be required to dance in either ballet shoes or bare feet. You can find out more information about what to wear in class here. Or please click here to go back to our timetable.

Meet the franchisee

Miss Ellie – Franchisee and teacher

I began dancing at the age of 5, when my mum took me to the local Dance School in Macclesfield, as I was a really shy child and she hoped it would help build my confidence. Training included ballet and I took examinations to professional grade.

By 18, I was offered a scholarship and went to study Musical Theatre for three years at SLP College in Leeds. I graduated in 2012 with a Level 6, Trinity College London Diploma in professional Musical Theatre.

From 2012 to 2015, I worked onboard a Thomson Cruise Ship as Dance Captain, performing and travelling around the Mediterranean.

From 2015 to 2020, I worked for several UK theatre companies, touring UK theatres as well as touring in Scandinavia, India and Holland. I even got to perform at Lyric Theatre in London’s West End.

It was in 2016, I started teaching babyballet® for a Franchise owner alongside performing. It was also in 2016, I started working as an Operations Manager for a small Entertainment Company. During this time, I realised I would love to run my own business. Combining my love for dance and becoming a franchise owner at babyballet® was the easiest decision. After 12 years dancing professionally and gaining so many skills, I’m very excited to run babyballet® in Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Congleton & SW Peaks.
