How to book a babyballet class:

Our babyballet class timetable is listed below, where you can book a three-week introductory trial for just £20.

The trial is the perfect introduction to babyballet, giving you and your child the chance to try out our ballet classes before signing up to a full term. Where spaces are available, the babyballet trial can start at any time during a term. Upon completion of the trial, you will be invoiced for the remaining sessions.

Tinies: 18m - 3 years

This is a ballet class suitable for children aged 18 months - 3 years and the main carer fully participates in the class with their dancing star.

Movers: 3 & 4 years

This is a ballet class suitable for children aged 3-4.5 years. We kindly ask that parents wait outside the room so that their dancing star can be encouraged to be more independent.

Which babyballet class should I book

Our preschool dance syllabus has been carefully designed to ensure each child is taught the principles of ballet and tap at the right developmental level while boosting confidence, and of course having lots of fun.

Our programme fits well within the UK Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, with our classes providing the opportunity for babies and young children to learn and develop key life skills in a healthy and safe environment.

When signing your child up for a three-week trial, you will need to ensure they are within the age parameters outlined for each stage. If in doubt, please start in the lower age group to begin with as your teacher will liaise with you should your child need to move up a stage.

After registering, you will be sent an enrolment email full of information that will let you know what to expect. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive this email and double check your junk or spam folder!

Becoming a babyballet member

Following the introductory trial, you will receive an email containing all the details you need to continue with our classes and become a babyballet member. Along with term dates and information about how to make future payments to secure your place, you will be sent an invoice for the remaining weeks in the current term plus your one-off babyballet joining fee. Your little star will receive a Welcome Pack filled with fun and benefits for both you and them to enjoy.

Our fees are £7.00 per class for babyballet tinies and movers, payable in half term blocks in advance. There is no need to sign up via the website again.

Our babyballet preschool dance programme offers four stages of ballet classes, for young children aged 6 months to 6 years. What to wear to class

At babyballet, our uniform is not compulsory, but we do have a beautiful bespoke uniform range for our little stars that can be browsed on our online shop.

I always wanted to “do ballet” so my mum took me to my first dance class when I was small and I have been hooked since! As a dancer I took part in competitions, winning the North West Tap Championship, and along the way performed in many amateur shows and professional performances – pantos were my favourite.

I studied and took my dance exams with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) to professional level and also started my teaching journey taking my first teaching qualification with the IDTA when I was 18. I have been teaching dance ever since and alongside this I am also qualified as an Early Years and Primary teacher. Working with young children has always been my passion and being a babyballet franchisee brings my two favourite things together.
