Which babyballet class should I book

Our preschool dance syllabus has been carefully designed to ensure each child is taught the principles of ballet and tap at the right developmental level while boosting confidence, and of course having lots of fun.

Our programme fits well within the UK Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, with our classes providing the opportunity for babies and young children to learn and develop key life skills in a healthy and safe environment.

When signing your child up for a three-week trial, you will need to ensure they are within the age parameters outlined for each stage. If in doubt, please start in the lower age group to begin with as your teacher will liaise with you should your child need to move up a stage.

After registering, you will be sent an enrolment email full of information that will let you know what to expect. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive this email and double check your junk or spam folder!

Becoming a babyballet member

Following the introductory trial, you will receive an email containing all the details you need to continue with our classes and become a babyballet member. Along with term dates and information about how to make future payments to secure your place, you will be sent an invoice for the remaining weeks in the current term plus your one-off babyballet joining fee. Your little star will receive a Welcome Pack filled with fun and benefits for both you and them to enjoy.

Our fees are £5.50 per class for babyballet tots, tinies, movers and groovers, payable in half term blocks in advance. There is no need to sign up via the website again.

Meet the franchisee

Miss Sally – Franchisee and teacher

.

Oldham_Star babyballet franchisee

.
Miss Sally is the Owner & Principal teacher of babyballet Oldham and Saddleworth, and also teaches lots of the classes alongside our great team of teachers. Miss Sally started dancing at age 3 and has wanted to be a dance teacher as long as she can remember – and even used to line her toys up and play at being a teacher when she was a little girl! She has ISTD Advanced exams in ballet, modern theatre and tap and has also got exams and awards in jazz and acrobatics. She is also a qualified, registered teacher with ISTD and IDTA as well as having a BA Hons degree in Performing Arts and Dance. Alongside this, she is also a Level 3 Fitness Instructor with a certificate in teaching pre and post natal exercise and has recently become a qualified and certified Acrobatic Arts and Cosmic Kids Yoga instructor. Due to her vast knowledge & experience, she also adjudicates for ballet and tap competitions in the North-West.
“I absolutely love teaching dance, acrobatics and yoga and I feel so lucky to have the best job in the world. With babyballet I get to meet and teach tiny children, some from as young as 6 months and watch them grow and develop through their years at our babyballet classes, who then naturally move up to our upper school once they graduate to Theatre Dance Academy. It’s such a privilege and so much FUN!”

Miss Layla has been a part of the babyballet Oldham and babyballet Saddleworth team since 2018 teaching in both Oldham, Royton and Saddleworth venues and is also a babyballet mummy to Lucca and Lillia!

Layla grew up as a baby ballerina herself, taking ballet, jazz and tap from a young age and up to A-Level standard before going to teach classes herself at Mossley School of Dance.

“Working at babyballet is a dream come true. I love getting to know all the little superstars and I can’t wait to see them shine each week in class!”

.

Miss Annie has been teaching for babyballet Oldham and Saddleworth since early 2017 and teaches throughout the week at various venues. As a babyballet mum for the previous 3+ years with her own children, she absolutely loves being able to teach babyballet to so many children each week and is a much loved teacher by both parents and children alike.

“I absolutely love my job at babyballet and after leaving my previous job back in 2017, I can now say that I truly have the best job in the world! It’s an absolute joy to teach so many lovely children everyday.”
