Which babyballet class should I book

Our preschool dance syllabus has been carefully designed to ensure each child is taught the principles of ballet and tap at the right developmental level while boosting confidence, and of course having lots of fun.

Our programme fits well within the UK Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, with our classes providing the opportunity for babies and young children to learn and develop key life skills in a healthy and safe environment.

When signing your child up for a three-week trial, you will need to ensure they are within the age parameters outlined for each stage. If in doubt, please start in the lower age group to begin with as your teacher will liaise with you should your child need to move up a stage.

After registering, you will be sent an enrolment email full of information that will let you know what to expect. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive this email and double check your junk or spam folder!

Becoming a babyballet member

Following the introductory trial, you will receive an email containing all the details you need to continue with our classes and become a babyballet member. Along with term dates and information about how to make future payments to secure your place, you will be sent an invoice for the remaining weeks in the current term plus your one-off babyballet joining fee. Your little star will receive a Welcome Pack filled with fun and benefits for both you and them to enjoy.

Our fees are £5.00 per class for babyballet tots and £6-£7 per class for babyballet tinies, movers and groovers, payable in half term blocks in advance. Tappers classes are available for movers and groovers starting at £3.00 per week. There is no need to sign up via the website again.

Meet the franchisee

Miss Ava – Franchisee and teacher

Exeter_Star babyballet franchisee

I Started dancing at the age of three, enjoying experiences with the Royal Ballet junior associates and English National Youth Ballet before winning a scholarship to Northern Ballet School where I completed my Advanced major examinations in ISTD Ballet, Modern, Tap, National, Classical Ballet Teaching associate and RAD Advanced Ballet, graduating with a diploma in Classical ballet. I danced professionally in Europe and the UK, alighting famous stages such as the London Palladium and Royal Albert Hall.
It was opening my babyballet Franchise in Exeter that has highlighted my passion for great quality dance instruction for all. Helping build the local dance community by then going on to create DanSci Dance studio, with my husband.
I am a registered babyballet teacher trainer, certified Progressing Ballet Technique & Yoga Shred instructor and Associate Lecturer at Exeter College. I teach the Creative Ballet Programme and am the director of DanSci Dance Studio.

Miss Harley started her early dance training in Ballet, Tap and Jazz as well as competing as a gymnast. She went on to gain a first-class honours degree in Dance Theatre and toured professionally. She now helps spread the magic of babyballet as well as teaching Contemporary, Acro and Commercial Street Dance.

Miss Harley – Teacher

Miss Dominique – Teacher

Miss Dominique

Miss Dominique started out training in contemporary dance at secondary school, even though she has been putting on dance shows for her family long before this!

Miss Dominique began formal ballet training when she was 16, gaining both grade 7 and 8 in RAD ballet as well as her A Level in dance at college. A hip injury postponed her dance career for several years at which point she trained to be a Registered Veterinary nurse; once Miss Dominique fully recovered from hip surgeries she began taking dance classes again and completed the BBO level 4 diploma in dance teaching.
