Celebrating 10 Years of babyballet® with Miss Jessica
On 22nd February 2026, we are proud to celebrate a very special milestone as Miss Jessica, franchisee of babyballet® Bognor Regis and Rustington, marks 10 wonderful years of running her babyballet® school.
Miss Jessica’s journey began with a clear vision. Having experienced more traditional, old-fashioned ballet classes, she knew she wanted something different… something joyful, inclusive and magical.
I wanted to bring the magic of babyballet® to the area I was living in,” she explains. “I was so ready to start making ballet fun again.”
What she also loved was the freedom the franchise model offered. A business that is buildable, adaptable and able to fit around family life was exactly what she was looking for.
Ten years on, that vision has become a reality. Miss Jessica has built a well-known and much-loved presence in her community; so much so that, “everyone knows babyballet® and Miss Jessica”, which she is so proud of.
There have been many standout moments along the way. Putting on her very first babyballet® show in April 2024 was a huge achievement and a milestone that will be followed by another exciting production later this year. Another unforgettable highlight was in 2016, when her babyballet® stars surprised guests by performing at her wedding! This was a moment that perfectly captured how intertwined her business and community have become.
Miss Jessica has also supported the wider babyballet® family, as a ‘helping hand’ to Flutterstar at numerous shows and even stepping in with less than 24 hours’ notice to support a fellow franchisee.
Fundraising for Tommy’s, the baby charity, has been an important part of Jessica’s journey. Miss Jessica and her families have raised over £14,000, for the special charity. One that has meant a great deal to her personally. She has also supported Children’s Activities Week and Children in Need, alongside hosting sell-out summer parties each year and attending local baby fairs.
Alongside growing her business, Miss Jessica is a proud mummy to Eden (4) and Andi (10 months). “Being my own boss means I can say, ‘No sorry, I can’t do that today,’” she shares. “Having a good team to support me has meant I’ve been able to slot in and out more recently.” All whilst planning for the future and building her business to thrive.
Reflecting on her decade as a franchisee, she says the best part has been the support:
“Having all the material given to you to run a business successfully, and then the support along the way, makes you feel part of a larger team and you never feel on your own.”
Looking ahead, the future is full of exciting plans. Expansion is firmly on the horizon, with more children reached, more classes offered, a hope for the introduction of the babyballet® Shine programme, and an even larger-scale show in the works.
