Today marks a special milestone in the babyballet family as for a decade, Miss Charlotte has been the heart and soul of babyballet Edinburgh South, creating a haven of magical, fun dance classes for countless little stars and their families!

Charlotte’s journey with babyballet began as a teacher, inspired by her dear friend and fellow franchisee, Miss Leanne. Four years into teaching, she knew that owning a franchise was her life calling. What she loved most about babyballet? A ready-made business for something she adored!

Little did she know that she would become an integral part of the babyballet family for a total of 14 years and counting! Devoting the last ten to running her own franchise and today, we look back at some of the standout moments that Miss Charlotte should be so proud to have achieved…

Highlights of Miss Charlotte’s 10-Year babyballet® Journey:

– Creating unforgettable moments through incredible stage shows, showcasing hundreds of adorable 3 and 4-year-olds making their debut in the spotlight! And later, hitting the headlines too, as the stars of babyballet® Edinburgh South made the local news.
– Fulfilling a dream by opening her own dance studio, a hub of fun, safety, and care – the embodiment of our babyballet® values
– The expansion of her business in 2021 and there are no signs of Charlotte hanging up her ballet shoes any time soon with plans for further growth, reaching more babyballet stars in Southern Edinburgh!
– Not to mention, juggling the roles of a business owner and a devoted mum, proving that passion and flexibility go hand in hand as a babyballet franchisee.

Lily, now a teenager adores babyballet too and regularly supports her mum at her babyballet school and events! No doubt an inspiration to both Lily and Alfie, Charlotte, you should be so proud of the difference you make and the joy you bring to those around you!

Beyond the ballet studio, Miss Charlotte is a beacon of kindness, raising money for charities, supporting community initiatives, and actively participating in national charity events with her babyballet® business too. Each year, Charlotte LOVES dancing in her pyjamas and supporting Pudsey Bear ears for Children in Need! Not to mention raising money for Tommy’s the baby charity as well.

Her commitment to making a positive impact extends far beyond the dancefloor… although, that is where you are sure to find her. Be it in a babyballet class or at a babyballet Franchise Conference, Charlotte is always first (and last!) on the dancefloor! Either that or drinking an Iron Bru – Miss Charlotte’s favourite!

The connections Charlotte has built over the years have undeniably, helped her in spreading the magic of babyballet® in Edinburgh and beyond. Miss Charlotte once welcomed Scottish MPs to classes and we’re sure they were enchanted by the magical world of babyballet as well as supportive of all Charlotte’s hard work as a local business owner!
Miss Charlotte’s camaraderie and team ethic shines through as a babyballet franchisee, and especially with her Scottish franchise neighbours with whom she has found friends for life.

To commemorate this special milestone of 10 years in business, Miss Charlotte held a babyballet® party filled with laughter, music, and the presence of Twinkle and Teddy, our beloved babyballet® mascots.

But the festivities don’t end there – stay tuned for an anniversary ball, promising an unforgettable night that will raise funds and awareness for Ronald McDonald House Edinburgh – a testament to her generous and caring nature. Miss Charlotte, your 10-year journey has been nothing short of magical, touching the lives of hundreds of families and creating lasting memories.
