babyballet® Bournemouth and Poole held their annual Starmakers show at at The De la Salle Theatre, St Peters School, in Southbourne, Bournemouth, which showcased dance skills after a course of dance classes for kids with babyballet®.

Over 140 babyballet® stars aged between 3 and 6 years old captivated 500 excited parents, family members and friends on Sunday 5^th November 2017 for two wonderfully performed, professional pantomime style dance shows.

babyballet® characters Twinkle and Teddy the adorable bears, Flutterstar the fairy, Chuck the cowboy and Grandad Jack, the King of the Castle in the Sky joined all of the children on the stage in this wonderful performance, where they thoroughly enjoyed dancing for their audience.

On their Grand Adventure, Twinkle and Teddy took the other babyballet® characters to the Wild Wild West where they joined in the dancing cowboy rodeo. When they finished, they had a dinnertime picnic in the sunshine with their kites and they watched the busy bees buzzing around before going on a wonderful adventure on a pirate ship. Then it was time for Flutterstar’s surprise birthday party with jelly and presents followed by the bright lights of Hollywood! The tap dancers showed everyone their moves and then everyone was invited to join in the grand finale!

The audience were enchanted as they clapped and even danced along at times!

Miss Claire, principal of babyballet® Bournemouth and Poole has been dancing since she was three and trained at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. She has been running her babyballet® school for 5 years and this was the 6^th babyballet® show she has run. Claire says, “It was an absolutely fantastic day – I was immensely proud of each and every one of our babyballet stars” 

One proud parent, Michelle Dear, mummy to Madison Davies, enthusiastically noted “It was an amazing show and you all did an amazing job. It was clear you all worked so hard and as a chaperone, I saw some of how much has gone into this show. It was an amazing experience for my daughter who absolutely loved being part of the show. Thank you again!”

babyballet® star, Madison, was eager to wish Flutterstar a “Happy Birthday!” and loved dancing alongside the magical babyballet® fairy on stage.
