A Diamond Decade of Dancing Magic with Miss Kelly and babyballet® Brighton West, Hove, Shoreham, Haywards Heath, and Peacehaven!

Today marks an extraordinary milestone for our beloved franchisee and babyballet teacher, Miss Kelly, as she celebrates an incredible 10 years of spreading the joy of dancing classes and fun with babyballet Brighton West, Hove, Shoreham, Haywards Heath, and Peacehaven.

Miss Kelly’s journey with babyballet is a tale of dedication, friendship, and a lifelong love for dance. Claire O’Connor, the CEO and founder of babyballet, shares a heartwarming connection with Miss Kelly that spans over 25 years. From local training in West Yorkshire (at Claire’s mother’s dance school – the well renowned Barbara Peters School of Dance) to becoming dear friends, Miss Kelly’s dream of owning a franchise blossomed as she witnessed the brand evolve from its early days. Her dream took flight a decade ago when she embraced the opportunity to build her own school on the sunny shores of Brighton and surrounding areas.

Years passed and as Brighton sparkled under her franchise, Miss Kelly’s pink car became a local celebrity, a symbol of the joy she brought to countless families! We’re sure you will have seen the babyballet Beatle over the years and be sure to wave if you see her new babyballet car spreading smiles.

Over the past 10 years, Miss Kelly has not only built a thriving franchise but has become a cherished member of the babyballet family. Claire O’Connor praises her for being an exceptional teacher, a natural entrepreneur with a big heart, and someone who goes the extra pink mile for everyone. Miss Kelly’s attention to detail, training delivery, and collaborative spirit have played a pivotal role in the brand’s success.

One of the highlights was their collaboration on the Australian and New Zealand launch, where they trained over 30 new licensees and teachers. Miss Kelly’s training skills, combined with her fun and engaging approach, left a lasting impression on everyone involved.

Miss Kelly’s dedication extends beyond the dance studio; she’s a wonderful mum to Freya Bella. Balancing motherhood with entrepreneurship is no small feat, yet she manages it with grace and determination, inspiring us all.

When asked about the highlights of her babyballet journey, Miss Kelly fondly recalls moments from the first show to teaching over 3000 children and supporting her team. Surviving the challenges posed by COVID stands out as a personal achievement, a testament to her resilience as a small business owner.

Looking ahead, Miss Kelly envisions another decade of dance magic! In 2024, her franchise plans to introduce babyballet Shine classes, that will welcome children with special educational needs and disabilities to come and join the babyballet fun. Her commitment to inclusivity and spreading the joy of dance knows no bounds.

As Miss Kelly reflects on the past decade, she expresses immense gratitude to her incredible team, past and present, her supportive family, friends who stepped in for shows and events, and the wonderful head office. Most importantly, she extends heartfelt thanks to the families who have chosen babyballet, saying, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so grateful.”

“Miss Kelly, you are totally and utterly fabulous inside and out! Thank you for always believing in the babyballet brand and all that we do. Your ongoing contribution is incredible, and we are in awe of your hard work and infectious personality.  Over the past decade, you have not only shaped the lives of young dancers but also created a thriving community of love and support. CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!”

As we celebrate this milestone, let’s raise a toast to Miss Kelly and babyballet Brighton West, Hove, Shoreham, Haywards Heath, and Peacehaven—a decade of dance, fun, and creating precious memories!
