Which babyballet class should I book

Our preschool dance syllabus has been carefully designed to ensure each child is taught the principles of ballet at the right developmental level while boosting confidence, and of course having lots of fun.

Our programme fits well within the UK Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, with our classes providing the opportunity for babies and young children to learn and develop key life skills in a healthy and safe environment.

When signing your child up for a three-week trial, you will need to ensure they are within the age parameters outlined for each stage. If in doubt, please start in the lower age group to begin with as your teacher will liaise with you should your child need to move up a stage.

After registering, you will be sent an enrolment email full of information that will let you know what to expect. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive this email and double check your junk or spam folder!

Becoming a babyballet member

Following the introductory trial, you will receive an email containing all the details you need to continue with our classes and become a babyballet member. Along with term dates and information about how to make future payments to secure your place, you will be sent an invoice for the remaining weeks in the current term plus your one-off babyballet joining fee. Your little star will receive a Welcome Pack filled with fun and benefits for both you and them to enjoy.

Our fees are £7.50 per class for babyballet tots, tinies, movers and groovers, payable in half term blocks in advance. There is no need to sign up via the website again.

Meet the franchisee

Miss Sam – Franchisee and teacher

.

I am so excited to be the franchise owner of baby ballet in Alton, Basingstoke and Farnham. Having fallen in love with dancing and acting at a very early age it only felt right to progress to start teaching. Have recently found the magical world of baby ballet in my local town. I feel so grateful to say that I absolutely love my job!

.

I began dancing at the early age of 3, in Surrey Walton on Thames. I fell in love with it so I carried on to go to college in the hope to perform professionally. In 2006 I went onto Laine Theatre Arts performing college at the age of 16 where I completed three years of Musical Theatre and Dance training.
Not long after graduating with a diploma I went on to tour the world as a dancer on P&O cruise ships and danced around the UK doing pantomimes and various shows like Spirit of the Dance too!

.

My last, and most proud professional appearance was the UK West end production of “Wicked” where I toured Internationally and Around the UK as Dance captain and swing. I am so very excited to be spreading the word of babyallet and I hope to continue bringing the magic to many more ballet stars in the area. As always I am so very grateful for my family and friends for their support!

Miss Rachel began dancing at the age of 3 and grew to study at the Italia Conti Theatre of Arts in London.
Upon graduating, she performed in several theatre shows in the Southeast and enjoyed a spell performing at Disneyland Paris.
Returning to Alton, Miss Rachel opened babyballet Alton, Basingstoke West and Farnham in 2018, and although Miss Sam now runs the business, Miss Rachel’s passion for teaching children hasn’t stopped has she continues her classes.

Miss Kerri has been dancing since a young age taking her R.A.D intermediate exams in Modern, Tap and Ballet. After her training she went on to be the dance captain and entertainment manager for Parkdean Holidays. Miss Kerri has her qualifications in personal training, fitness instructing, exercise to music, indoor cycling, children’s fitness, pilates, ante-natal/post-natal fitness and Zumba.

"My one-year-old daughter has been attending babyballet for a couple of weeks now and she loves it! She loves music and dance so this is the perfect class for her. She loves the nursery rhymes, toys and parachute and it’s a great way for her to socialise with other children her age. Miss Rachel is lovely, she engages with all of the children and makes the session enjoyable for both the adults and little ones. I would highly recommend Miss Rachel’s classes!"
