Which babyballet class should I book

Our preschool dance syllabus has been carefully designed to ensure each child is taught the principles of ballet and tap at the right developmental level while boosting confidence, and of course having lots of fun.

Our programme fits well within the UK Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, with our classes providing the opportunity for babies and young children to learn and develop key life skills in a healthy and safe environment.

When signing your child up for a three-week trial, you will need to ensure they are within the age parameters outlined for each stage. If in doubt, please start in the lower age group to begin with as your teacher will liaise with you should your child need to move up a stage.

After registering, you will be sent an enrolment email full of information that will let you know what to expect. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive this email and double check your junk or spam folder!

Becoming a babyballet member

Following the introductory trial, you will receive an email containing all the details you need to continue with our classes and become a babyballet member. Along with term dates and information about how to make future payments to secure your place, you will be sent an invoice for the remaining weeks in the current term plus your one-off babyballet joining fee. Your little star will receive a Welcome Pack filled with fun and benefits for both you and them to enjoy.

Our fees are £9.00 per class for babyballet tots, tinies, movers and groovers, payable in half term blocks in advance. There is no need to sign up via the website again.

Meet the franchisee

Miss Catherine & Mr Saul

Miss Catherine and Mr Saul franchise owners at babyballet East Herts & West Essex

We’re so excited to be bringing the magic of babyballet to St. Albans and Harpenden!
We’ve been sharing the magic of babyballet with the families in Bishop’s Stortford, Braintree, Cheshunt, Epping and Hertford for over 11 years and have welcomed over 10,000 little stars in that time.
Just like her babyballet® stars, Miss Catherine started ballet classes at a very young age. One class a week soon turned into eleven classes a week! Before long, Miss Catherine won two scholarships, the first to train at The Arts Educational School Tring in classical ballet and the second to train at The London Studio Centre.
While training to be a professional dancer, Miss Catherine also qualified as an ISTD ballet teacher. Upon graduation, Miss Catherine joined The Vienna Festival Ballet and toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe. She also spent several years performing professionally on five star cruise lines where she met her husband, Mr Saul.
Mr Saul is originally from Canada and worked as a professional actor and singer for 15 years before meeting and falling in love with Miss Catherine. They now have two beautiful little stars of their own, Ella and Jude who have both loved their time at babyballet classes.
We are thrilled to be continuing to bring the wonderful world of babyballet® to all the little stars and families of East Herts and West Essex!

“My dreams came true when Thea was born, she was my very own mini me. I could not wait for her to start ballet at babyballet and from her very first class we were both mesmerised by the magic and ethos of the dance school.”
