Every year, thousands of our little stars experience one of the most exciting moments of their babyballet journey as they step onto the stage to perform in our annual theatre productions.
For many of our performers, they are just three years old. Standing in front of an audience at such a young age is an incredible achievement and a wonderful reflection of the confidence they have developed through their babyballet classes.
Confidence Begins Long Before Show Day
Every performance starts long before the theatre lights come on.
From their very first class, our little stars are encouraged to learn at their own pace, explore through imaginative play and celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or small.
Week by week, they grow in confidence, develop new skills and build friendships, all within a nurturing and supportive environment.
By the time show day arrives, they’ve already achieved something truly special.
More Than Just a Dance Show
A babyballet® show is unlike a traditional dance showcase.
Instead, our productions are magical, panto-style adventures featuring our much-loved babyballet characters. Together, they travel through exciting worlds, including adventures to the seaside, the Wild West and even the bright lights of Hollywood, discovering our dancing stars along the way.
Each child becomes part of the story, helping to create a fun, engaging performance that families love watching just as much as the children love taking part in.
A Huge Achievement for Every Little Star
Standing on a theatre stage is a remarkable achievement for anyone.
For children as young as three, it’s something truly extraordinary.
Our annual shows celebrate much more than dance. They celebrate courage, confidence, determination and the willingness to try something new.
Every smile, every wave and every little step on stage represents a milestone in a child’s journey.
A Magical Celebration Across the UK
This year, babyballet is celebrating an incredible milestone, with 39 franchises having come together to present a total of 30 theatre productions across the UK so far! And more productions planned for the Autumn season.
From individual franchise productions to joint shows, each performance is the result of months of planning, rehearsals and teamwork from our dedicated franchisees and teaching teams.
This year has also been particularly special as we celebrated our first-ever babyballet show in Wales, thanks to the fantastic teams at babyballet Cardiff, Caerphilly & Vale of Glamorgan and babyballet Swansea.
Together, these productions have created unforgettable memories for thousands of children and their families.
The Magic Behind the Curtain
While our little stars shine on stage, there’s another group of stars working behind the scenes.
Our incredible franchisees and their teaching teams dedicate months to planning, rehearsing and bringing each production to life. Organising shows on this scale for children as young as three is no small feat, yet they do so with passion, care and an unwavering commitment to creating magical experiences for every family.
The wonderful feedback they receive each year is a testament to their dedication and the special memories they help create.
