Confidence, Connection and Magical Moments

POV: You’ve been waiting ever since your little girl was a baby for her to dance like no one’s watching.

#mybabyballetstory is about much more than first pliés and sparkly tutu’s. It’s the way Ivy’s face lights up when we turn into the car park, the shy smiles that slowly turn into confident steps and the proud look when she stands in 1st position. It’s our special time together each week (I hope to spend at least another year not working Monday’s). It’s a pause from the rush of life where imagination leads, confidence grows and memories are made one twirl at a time.

Watching them learn to listen, to try, to believe in themselves (even when they’re not 100% sure yet) is pure magic. Childhood exactly as it should be and reminds me of mine (I started dancing at the age of 3)! So grateful for these moments, these memories and my not so tiny dancer who doesn’t even realise how big this all is yet.

Ivy wakes up and the first thing she asks is if today is “babyballet“.
