Babyballet is heading for Stafford

And it’s all thanks to 29-year-old Amy Sanders, who is no stranger to the stage.

Amy, who has been dancing since she was four, is an active member of Stafford Operatic Society and has appeared in numerous shows. She has also appeared in professional pantomimes in the town with celebrities such as Christopher Biggins.

After leaving school she attended Wolverhampton University where she got a degree in dance and performance. Instead of going into the dance industry however she ended up working in social care and for the last five years has worked for an IT company in admin.

She decided to go back to her first love, dance, last year, and this month (February) opens babyballet classes in North Stafford.

Amy, who lives with her husband, Keiran in Stafford says “babyballet has a great reputation and is a recognised children’s brand as well as being a dance franchise. I’m really excited about bringing it to Stafford and feel sure it will prove popular with families here.”

The nearest babyballet classes at the moment are in Wolverhampton

She is opening at Stafford Cricket Club, Parkside Primary School and St Bertelins Church on a Friday and Saturday and has an opening offer of £15 for a three week trial. She will teach the youngsters herself, but hopes to employ other teachers as the demand for classes grows.
