Easter is the most important festival in the Christian calendar. It celebrates Jesus’ rising. An egg is a symbol of new life. For Christians, Easter eggs are used as a symbol for the resurrection of Jesus. Nowadays, most Easter eggs are made from chocolate and covered in coloured foil. Traditionally though, chicken eggs would be hard-boiled and then decorated by hand. Maybe you could decorate a hard-boiled egg at home with your grown-ups!
What are you most excited for this Easter? We have been hiding Easter eggs for Twinkle and Teddy! I wonder if they’ll find them all?
