Mrs Peters Dances Onto ITV’s This Morning
Our wonderful babyballet® co-founder, Mrs Barbara Peters, has been in the spotlight again, this time on ITV’s This Morning, where she chatted all about her incredible journey as Britain’s oldest ballerina.
During her interview with presenters Joel Dommett and Emma Willis, Mrs Peters shared how her lifelong love of ballet first began. As a young girl, she went to see a ballet performance, and from that moment she was utterly captivated. The beauty, grace and magic of the performance inspired her to start dancing, and she hasn’t stopped since.
Mrs Peters spoke about how ballet has always been a part of her life, describing it as being “in her genes”. She feels very fortunate to have enjoyed so many years of dancing.
Lesson for the Hosts
But it wasn’t all talk, Mrs Peters also took to the This Morning studio floor to give Joel and Emma a little taste of ballet magic! She even taught them the pas de chat (a beautiful ballet jump whose name means “step of the cat”), filling the studio with laughter and a touch of elegance.
True Inspiration
From being inspired as a young girl in the audience, to becoming a role model for dancers of all ages, Mrs Peters continues to prove that ballet is a lifelong gift. She embodies everything we believe in at babyballet®, that dance can bring joy, confidence, and a sparkle to life, no matter your age.
We are so proud to see Mrs Peters sharing her passion with the nation once again. She’s a shining example to our little stars, their grown-ups, and anyone who has ever dreamed of dancing.
