Award-winning babyballet® is a widely recognised and much-loved brand, with over 100 franchises and licenses in operation across the UK and internationally and 20,000 children dancing through its doors each week.

We are looking to recruit an innovative and experienced marketing professional to take our marketing output and brand visibility to the next level. The ideal candidate will have vast digital marketing experience, a keen eye for brand and a proven track record of successfully creating and implementing marketing strategies that accelerate business growth.

We are on a mission to spread the message of joy and inclusivity in the world of pre-school dance and are looking for someone who shares in babyballet’s values.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans across all departments, considering:

– Increased Brand Awareness

– Increased Students Numbers and Classes

– E-comm and Merchandising

– Franchise Recruitment

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to high-performance and experienced in delivering on the full marketing mix.

Job Description

The Marketing Lead will be responsible for the following:

  • Implement and drive the marketing strategy to meet business and financial objectives.
  • Manage and enhance all existing marketing activities on and offline.
  • Build creative marketing campaigns across the full digital mix with involvement from creation to delivery.
  • Identify, develop, and launch new collaborations, brand partnerships and initiatives.
  • Initiate new marketing collateral, brand materials, graphics, and content.
  • Report on marketing performance and meet regularly with key operational staff to review strategy.
  • Manage the growing marketing team including freelancers and agencies.
  • Communicate effectively with franchisees, brand partners and digital partners.
  • Maintain commercial and competitor awareness to ensure leading brand status.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Track record of delivering results within a similar marketing role.
  • Educated to degree level or industry experience in a competitive multi-channel environment.
  • Advanced digital marketing skills, and an understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
  • Experienced in social media management and strategy; a good SEO understanding and experience of management of paid digital advertising via external agency; experience of thinking creatively and managing branding and design; knowledge of email marketing creation and strategies; and website management experience using WordPress.
  • A commitment to continued learning and development.
  • Ability to adopt the brand voice and good literacy skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Budget management skills and proficiency.
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
  • Demonstrates excellent management and communication skills with the ability to promote a strong team spirit.
  • Absolute commitment to the brand.

Base: Brighouse, West Yorkshire – Office based with hybrid-working capabilities

Salary: £30,000

Hours: Full time but flexible for the right candidate
