Hello and welcome to the magical world of babyballet®!
If you’re preparing for your first class, these Top Need To Know tips will help you and your little dancer feel confident, prepared and ready to sparkle from the very start.
Twinkle and Teddy are so excited to meet all our brand-new little stars, and their wonderful grown-ups too! Whether you’re joining us for the first time or settling into a new routine, we’re so happy to welcome you.
Starting something new is exciting, and these Top Need To Know babyballet® tips will help you get the very best from every class.
✨ Magical Introduction to Music and Dance
Every babyballet® class follows a carefully structured programme, specially designed to introduce children to dance through music, movement and imagination. Each lesson encourages children to explore, express themselves and grow in confidence in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.
We also understand that trying something new can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. That’s why every family enjoys a three-week trial, giving children time to get used to the class routine, the music, the teacher and their new surroundings. Some little stars jump straight in, while others prefer to watch and join in gradually, and both are completely normal.

✨ Grown-Ups Are Part of the Magic Too
Many babyballet® classes are designed for children and their grown-ups to enjoy together. Your child takes their confidence from you, so the more you join in with the songs, movements and actions, the more confident they’ll feel too. Your encouragement helps them feel safe, supported and ready to shine.
✨ Creating the Best Learning Environment
To help every child focus and enjoy their class, we kindly ask grown-ups to keep chatting between themselves to a minimum during lessons. Little ones can become easily distracted, and a calm, focused environment allows everyone to follow the teacher and take part fully.
✨ More Than Just a Dance Class
babyballet® is about so much more than learning steps. Our classes help children develop important life skills including confidence, turn-taking, cooperation, listening, communication, spatial awareness and early numeracy, all through play, imagination and movement.
✨ Getting Ready for Class
When you arrive at your first class, we ask that your child is as ready as possible. If your child is toilet trained, or in the process of toilet training, it’s helpful to visit the toilet before class begins. Once inside the hall, outdoor shoes are removed and personal belongings are placed safely to one side, ready for your teacher to welcome you in.
✨ Food, Drink & Filming
We follow a no food or drink policy during class, except for water in a non-spill bottle, which should be kept away from the dancing area.
We also operate a strict no photography or filming policy during classes for child protection purposes. You’re very welcome to take photos before or after class to capture those precious babyballet® memories.
✨ Meet Your Teacher
Your babyballet® teacher is trained to work with young children and create a warm, welcoming and encouraging environment. They’re there to guide your child gently, celebrate every achievement and help them feel confident with each new step.
We can’t wait to welcome you into the magical world of babyballet®.
Your journey is about confidence, creativity, imagination and making beautiful memories together, and it all begins with those very first dance steps.
The magic starts the moment you dance through the door.
