A host of some of the best known faces from Children’s TV have lent their support to an online quiz event taking place on Tuesday 28^th April and raising funds for disabled children affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

Stars from much-loved TV shows including CBeebies, Swashbuckle, Andy’s Dinosaur Adventures, Justin’s House and Mister Maker have all recorded special videos as part of the online quiz for young children and families.

A total of 11 TV stars have already recorded questions for the We  Children’s Activities Family Quiz, with organisers saying there is still more to come.

Orchestrated by the team behind the annual Children’s Activities Week fundraising event, all proceeds from the quiz will be donated to the national charity Caudwell Children Emergency Appeal to support families caring for disabled children during the crisis.

Ben Sutcliffe, Director of Executive Projects at Caudwell Children, said: “The support we’ve received from the celebrities has been phenomenal. Online quiz events have become very popular but they almost exclusively aimed at adults. We are giving children age between two and eight a chance to get in on the action and having some famous faces ask the questions just adds to the excitement.”

One of the TV stars supporting the campaign is former CBeebies presenter, Alex Winters, he commented: “At a time when parents are looking for something fun, a bit different and educational to do with their little ones this quiz really hits the spot. I was delighted to be asked to support this very worthy cause and also to ask some of my colleagues and friends to get involved too, I hope it is a massive success.”  

The online quiz takes place on Tuesday 28^th April from 2pm and will be available for 24 hours to parents and carers that register. With questions for pre-schoolers aged 2-4 and some slightly trickier ones for the older children aged 5-8, there’s something for everyone.

Registration for the quiz requires just a minimum £1 donation per child, with all proceeds being donated to provide support services for disabled children and families during the crisis.

The We  Children’s Activities Family Quiz is a fun, interactive, educational activity for parents and children.

Taking place on 28th April it will feature questions for your little ones, provided by some of your favourite children’s activity providers.

There will be surprise appearances from some of our celebrity friends and all entrants will be entered into a FREE prize draw to win signed David Walliams books!

With two options offering age appropriate questions for children age 2-4 and 5-8, there is something for every family.

Upon registering you will receive a confirmation email and then a link to the quiz which will begin at 2pm on Tuesday 28^th April.

The quiz will be available for 24hrs to be completed at any time.

Entry to the quiz requires a minimum £1 donation per child.

All funds raised from the quiz will be donated to the Caudwell Children Emergency Fundraising Appeal to help disabled children and their families throughout the COVID-19 Crisis.

The We  Children’s Activities Family Quiz is run by Caudwell Children using www.quiz-maker.com technology, this activity is a fun fundraising event to generate funds for Caudwell Children and participants are encouraged to donate to play. Payment for participation is not essential and there are no prizes.
