World Ballet Day celebrations with babyballet!

World Ballet Day is nearly here! We celebrate the wonderful world of ballet every day of the year here at babyballet. But the 2nd November is extra special for us – and our stars in every corner of the world because it is World Ballet Day.

Do you know that babyballet classes are held in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore?

We are trusted by thousands of parents and carers every day and a day like World Ballet Day is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our community in classes and at home.

We’re very proud of our programme and syllabus, which has been carefully designed by leading preschool dance and ballet experts, including our founders Claire O’Connor and Barbara Peters.  And because babyballet is so much more than a ballet dance school, our stars thrive and grow in so many more areas than dance alone.

Babies and children in the care of our classes improve, development skills such as:-

• coordination
• balance
• posture
• self control

And while they are busy dancing and making new friends, our babyballet stars are also nurturing social skills such as sharing, celebrating and taking turns.

Because ballet is the glue that holds our babyballet family together World Ballet Day is a special day for all of us. From tiny ballerinas to our ballet teachers and dance franchisees, we all love to get involved.

Ahead of this year’s World Ballet Day, we’ve stopped saying ‘We can’t’ and instead we’ll say, ‘We WILL!’. Because at babyballet® we know we can do anything we set our minds to, if only we’re given time to practice!
